The property is situated in the middle of the village of Pressigny, which is a tranquil hamlet. Just a few kilometers in any direction, are villages and small towns, providing all the immediate facilities required to make the best of your holiday.
A 15 minute drive away is the medieval town of Parthenay, which has an abundance of shops, bars, cafés and restaurants, as well as a weekly local market.
Thirty minutes away, the city of Poitiers provides a vibrant retail and historic center, with something to suit all guests. Futuroscope, France's second largest tourist attraction, is located here and is a MUST for all the family.

Thenezay (7km): Bank, supermarket, bakery, patisserie, ironmongers, florist, café, bar, petrol station, pizza take away, post office, tabac, local market on Sunday mornings.
Gourgé (7km): Convenience store, Post office, Restaurant, Bar, Steak and Pizza house, Garage.
St.Loup (9km): Restaurant, Bar, Pizzeria, Convenience store, Bakery, Post Office, Tabac.
Parthenay (15km): Everything from Hypermarket, Supermarket, independently owned shops, bars and restaurants, banks and a fabulous market on a Wednesday morning.
Thouars (25km): Probably the best of local markets on a Friday morning. Fantastic fresh fish, meat, fruit and vegetables as well as gifts etc.
